I am happy to highly recommend that everyone give yoga at Be Still a try. I absolutely love coming to a place where I can totally be myself, faults, insecurities, and all and feel comfortable, welcomed, and encouraged. And challenged!!! I love that I am learning how to breathe! Really breathe. Not just in the studio, but in life. I found out that I am often holding my breath. Maybe it's due to anxiety, fear or stress or just the busy nature of life... Chris is so kind, patient, and loving. She doesn't allow judgement in the studio, which normally wouldn't be a problem for me, until I realized how critical and judgemental I am of myself!!! I have learned to treat myself with more kindness!!! Trying to eliminate harsh words and being more forgiving and accepting of my flaws and my limitations. I am learning that I am a work in progress and I am improving, in so many ways, week after week. Love this class and love Chris.... #grateful

As a first time mom-to-be and the first in my immediate family to be pregnant, I of course want to read and get advice on everything I could think of when it comes to pregnancy, labor, and just any knowledge I could get my hands on. I have been practicing yoga for a while and had begun getting serious before I knew I was pregnant. After I discovered it, I wanted to be able to continue to be active for my baby as well as practice safely as my bump grew. Finding Chris's class was a God sent! My friend told me about it, and I loved it from the first class we did together. I started around 26 weeks and love how I am able to use what she teaches when I go to “regular” classes so I do not feel like I am just sitting in child's pose or risking hurting my little girl. I LOVE going to prenatal and it is so much fun watching all the other mothers as we grow with our babies. Chris has created such a warm and understanding atmosphere that I make a point of rearranging my day around getting to class. It feels like you're having “girls night” during the day and without the coffee or what have you. I'm worried about after I have my daughter how I will miss going to class every week. Chris's enthusiasm and genuine love for us, the babies, and the program she has created makes the worst pregnancy days manageable and gives us all the reassurance of a true sense of community that I am so grateful to have and that I would not have if I had not found out about her class. Because of her, I feel stronger, and not just me but my baby as well. I feel like if it wasn't for Chris, I would not be where I am; I am not even worried about labor (yet) or anything because I know we will be fine. It's not just abount the moves, it's about the sense of peace and love that we are born capable of anything and we will be better getting through this as we do it together.
Thank you Chris!

I've always been a fan of yoga. Once I became pregnant I wanted to continue to practice, but I wanted to do it the right way for my baby. I found Chris and instantly felt comfortable with her. She was so welcoming and knowledgeable. I felt like I could ask any questions I had about having a baby, and I did! Any minor body complaints were wiped away. After class my body and mind felt at ease. Chris and the community of moms she builds at prenatal yoga helped prepare me for the birth of my daughter. I miss Chris's yoga class and plan on attending again in the future when I'm pregnant with my next child.

Once I became pregnant, I knew I wanted to remain healthy and active. When I
heard about Be Still Yoga's prenatal yoga classes, I signed right up! I began
the classes when I was 15 weeks along and continued through my entire
pregnancy. Christine's calm demeanor made each class a spiritual one. I felt
my body getting stronger each week as well as my bond with my baby continuing
to grow. As a beginner to yoga, Christine not only taught me and coached me
through poses, but she also focused on preparing me during my pregnancy for a
peaceful, natural labor and delivery. When the day of my daughter's birth
came, I found the inner strength to remain calm and used the prenatal yoga
techniques to breathe through each contraction. When it was time to push, I
had the confidence and determination to bring my daughter into the world
quickly and peacefully. I am thrilled with my natural birthing experience and,
as a first time mom, prenatal yoga eased any fear I had about labor and
delivery by helping to fully prepare me mentally and physically. I am so glad
I took advantage of Be Still Yoga's prenatal yoga classes and plan to
incorporate much of what I learned into my daily life as a new mom! -
